not the same, Darkwing and Negaduck is not the same, this Negaduck is from a other dimension but in the cartoon Negaduck never knew Darkwing identity, he first find out in the new comic...

Actually one can argue they are the same since they're the same person from different universes.
However Negaduck never believed in the whole secret identity thing and never stopped to realize that Darkwing would want that. both of them live in the same place on avian way, have the same 'friends' and 'family' and are clearly equally matched.

So, they are the same. :)

When you're bullied, you can respond one of two ways. You can love your enemies, or you can bring a gun to school. Darkwing took the more noble path, and became a hero. Negs, we can guess, probably took the latter path, and became a villain. A crucial point in Drake Mallard's life, with two possible outcomes. We get to see them both.

We get to see two more possible outcomes of another crisis point in Darkwing's life when we're introduced to Quiverwing Duck and reintroduced to Darkwarrior Duck.
