"Not enough quota is available to process this command"
That error is going to haunt me forever.
Getting the new part of The Island came alot later then i wanted it to. I gave myself one day to let the poll run it's course and started writing again last night. At the time the only real writing tool i had was Microsoft Word Portable.
I had never really used the program before but I imagined it couldn't cause an issue, right?
lol no.
three pages into my story i start getting that error. "Not enough quota is available to process this command." It wouldn't let me save or anything. Worse yet I couldn't access any of my drives or open any programs. I thought my hard drive was following the path of most of my other hard drives and was going to crash. I couldn't access the network and save onto my husbands computer and i couldn't even stick a USB drive into the system to save. All was lost!
Thankfully Stealth is a smart guy and suggested I merely transcribe it onto his system. So he hooked the spare USB keyboard we have with the super long cable to his system and sat back while i re-wrote everything i did. Thank you jebus. nothing kills a writing mood faster then data loss.
It turned out my HD is just fine, it was the portable app that blew up my system. My theory (and im no smartmen about the computer hacks so i may be way the hell off the target) is that Portable Word doesn't install or attach to the system in any way and merely runs everything it needs directly from the RAM. That would mean it's loading up a ton of crap onto my memory which is already leaked and broke from running instances of Firefox, World of Warcraft, AIM, MSN and WinAMP.
D'oh.
Oh well, live and learn.
I must say i got kinda excited and happy over the piece i put up. Being able to work with Bunnie was alot of fun. My apologies for taking an alternative route to the whole "Sonic awakens" thing. As a compromise i decided that nothing starts to happen until Sonic woke up. I hope it didn't disappoint.
Im going to sleep. I have 3 days off and i intend to do something productive during it! GET THOSE VOTES IN FOLKS.

PS:I dont "cel shade," that's an entirely different style of coloring. I did dabble with it a bit ago but I duno, it's pretty bland to me.
you may be referring to the 'cutting' i do in my pictures occasionally. that's ..that's something i can't help you with since I know i'm doing it wrong myself. :S

What I think, I create.
What I create, I draw.
What I draw, I love.
What I love, is everything to me.
I prefer creativity, originality, dynamics and sassiness over cut and paste and paintfill and trace.
I learn from honest critique. Do you?
And I have an idea I'd like to run by you, should you wish to hear it.

Perhaps I have just not seen him, but to what I have read there is no Robotnik in your telling of the story.
I had an idea that a few of his higher up creations were following a certain list of orders to carrying out.
I'm just getting the first chapter finished now, but wanted to hear from you before attempting to put this up, anywhere.
